Please do not submit application materials for MSP level job postings through this online process. MSP positions require applying directly to the hiring department. Please read each individual job posting for how to apply instructions for MSP positions.

The UC Davis campus uses a secure website for the staff employment application process that can be accessed at: www.hr.ucdavis.edu/Emp/Applications/Submit.
Please Note: You must use the current version of the UC Davis Application for Employment form and supplemental application forms. Please read the instructions carefully before you begin to fill out your Application for Employment.
- The Applicant Survey is optional; choosing not to complete this section will not affect your opportunity for employment with the University. However, your assistance in completing this section is greatly appreciated.
- You must submit a separate application for each specific vacancy listing number (VL#).
- Please be sure to reference the specific vacancy listing number on each application.
- Answer all questions completely and thoroughly.
- Your application materials must be received by 5:00 p.m., in the Human Resources Administration Building on the Final Filing Date (FFD). If you are submitting application materials via mail please note: Postmarks are not acceptable.
- All applications must be signed. If you submit materials electronically, you will be required to sign an application if you are chosen for an interview.
- Many positions require that supplemental forms accompany your application. In addition, some positions require other special requirements must be met in order for your application to receive full consideration. If supplemental forms are required for the position for which you are applying, failure to include them with your application packet will result in disqualification of your application materials.
- All application materials for a specific job posting must be submitted at the same time. For example, the Employment Application Form, any required supplemental forms; optional cover letter and/or resume, must be submitted as a packet for each position that you are applying for. You must reference the VL# and position title on all documents.
- A self addressed notification card is available for status of employment application. The notification card can be accessed at: http://www.hr.ucdavis.edu/Forms/
- You may also request forms to be sent to you by postal mail (if you live outside of Davis), by calling (530) 752-1760, or you may obtain forms in person at the Human Resources Administration Building. The building is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - noon; 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. (effective Aug. 1, 2008 the building, including the main lobby area will be closed from noon to 1 p.m.).
