Additional Hires Process
Department Responsibilities:
- If your department wants additional hires to be made from a Vacancy Listing under the same VL#, contact your Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter immediately.
- If the additional position(s) deviates from the original Vacancy Listing and Position Description, a new Vacancy Listing and Position Description must be submitted.
Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter Responsibilities:
- If the final filing date has not passed, the Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter will revise the vacancy for the Employment Opportunities Bulletin/Web site to include the additional available positions.
- If the final filing date has passed, the Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter will notify your department that the vacancy must be re-posted in the department and for a minimum of two business days. The vacancy will also be posted as "reopened/revised" indicating the new final filing date and the total number of positions to be hired.
