Recruitment Plan/Outreach MSP Recruitments

 

Department Responsibilities:

  • Review Affirmative Action (AA) goals.


  • Contacts MSP Coordinator as early as possible to discuss AA goals and type of recruitment/outreach activity required for a qualified diverse applicant pool.


  • Develops selection criteria following college/unit protocol if required.


  • Submits VL requisition in Job Machine.


  • Completes recruitment plan in Job Machine to indicate type of activity required.

 

 

MSP Coordinator's Responsibilities:

  • Contacts department to discuss AA goals recruitment/outreach strategy and sets FFD to allow for focused activity.


  • Develops special mailing lists, postings at specialized Internet sites, publications, etc. to enhance diverse qualified applicant pool.


  • Routes special request to Outreach Coordinator for targeted/focused activity.

 

 

Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Works with MSP Coordinator to identify specific recruitment outreach source.


  • Works with department upon request to discuss special outreach efforts and the benefit of outreach.
