Recruitment Plan/Outreach PSS Recruitments
Department Responsibilities:
- Review Affirmative Action (AA) goals.
- Contacts Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter as early as possible to discuss AA goals and type of recruitment/outreach activity required for a qualified diverse applicant pool.
- Develops selection criteria following college/unit protocol if required.
- Submits VL requisition in Job Machine.
Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Contacts department to discuss AA goals recruitment/outreach strategy and sets FFD to allow for focused activity.
- Completes recruitment plan in Job Machine to indicate type of activity required.
- Document reasons for non-focused activity for AA by recording comments in Job Machine.
- Develops special mailing lists, postings at specialized Internet sites, publications, etc. to enhance diverse qualified applicant pool.
- Routes special request to Outreach Coordinator for targeted/focused activity.
Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Works with Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter to identify specific recruitment outreach source.
- Works with department upon request to discuss special outreach efforts and the benefit of outreach
