Withdrawing a Vacancy Listing
Department Responsibilities:
- Contact your department's Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter to discuss the reasons for withdrawing the vacancy.
- Submit written documentation with the closeout packet explaining the reason for withdrawing the vacancy.
- Return the entire original close-out packet (including the applicant referral list, original applications, other forms that you received, etc.) to the Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter
Employment and Outreach Consultant/Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Indicate in the Vacancy Listing folder that the vacancy has been withdrawn and the effective date.
- Ensure that all materials have been received from the department, including the written documentation explaining the reason for the withdrawal.
- Notify parties as appropriate of the withdrawn status.
- Indicate withdrawn in Job Machine.
