SD&PS Career Counseling Program
As part of the university's commitment to support employees in their professional development and career management efforts, career counseling and coaching services have expanded. Available through Staff Development & Professional Services, a range of career counseling and coaching services are available including:
- exploration of your career options and goals
- discussion of where you want to be in your work/life
- goal setting and action planning
- interview coaching
- resume writing assistance
- review of application materials
- job search coaching
- help with developing your individual development plan (IDP)
Career counselors are available for confidential, one-on-one counseling and coaching appointments. To schedule an appointment, call Staff Development & Professional Services at (530) 752-1766.
Note: UC Davis staff are entitled to two one-hour individual appointments per fiscal year.
