Employee Recruitment and Selection

Before you engage in outreach, recruitment and selection of employees for your department, join an employment law attorney, an industry human resource expert and a campus recruitment specialist for an overview of the recruitment and selection process. You will learn the responsibilities of a campus hiring authority through a discussion of federal and state law and university policy. This interactive course will also explore the philosophical and practical aspects of best selection techniques including interview panels, behavioral interviewing, developing questions and performing reference checks. This course will help you maximize the potential of your next recruitment effort and select the best possible candidate.
