PPS: Post-Authorization Notices (PANs)
This hands-on lab combines lecture, discussion and exercises. Participants will learn what is expected of reviewers and just what they should be looking for in a PAN. They'll receive checklists that can use for reviewing transactions, work through exercises that demonstrate how to review a transaction in both the web-based system and in email notifications, and understand how their review of a transaction fits into the big picture. We'll also discuss the accountability role of Reviewers and the Departmental Organizational Structure form.
Participants are required to submit a departmental signed copy of their PPS Access/Change Application to the PPS Administrator in Accounting and Financial Services, Payroll Division prior to the day of the class in order to attend. Only employees who will be responsible for PPS/OPTRS administrative functions/transactions will be permitted to attend due to the confidential information accessed in the course.
