Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

The mission of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is to enhance the personal, social, educational and career development of students attending UC Davis, to assist members of the campus community to do so and to contribute to the profession. CAPS provides short term counseling services to students at no cost. It also conducts a series of Wellness Workshops.

Cross Cultural Center

The Cross-Cultural Center (CCC) serves as a community center for the students, faculty and staff at UC Davis. It provides a safe space for community members to explore themselves as well as learn about other races and cultures. We also have for public use an extensive library of reading materials by faculty and noted authors in the area of multiculturalism.

Mediation Services

Provides mediation services for faculty and staff at the UC Davis Campus. Mediation is a voluntary, confidential, problem-solving process that promotes respectful and constructive communication for managing conflict between two or more individuals. An impartial third person, a mediator, helps the parties define the issues and reach a mutually acceptable agreement by providing structure and guidance to a discussion of concerns and solutions.
