Beth Cohen

Beth A. Cohen, Ph.D.  Director

Dr. Cohen is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of organizational and clinical experience. She earned her Ph.D. and Masters Degree from Alliant University's California School of Professional Psychology-Los Angeles. Some areas of Dr. Cohen's special interest include: balancing work and life; job stress; eldercare; and, wellness. Watch for her column "Challenges and Changes" in the Dateline.

Rory Osborne, Ph.D. Clincal Director

Dr. Osborne is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. He earned his Ph.D. from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto and his Masters Degree from University of Chicago. He has experiences working in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, chemical dependency programs, and in private practice. As a consultant to the Calif. Dept. of Mental Health he has provided assessment and coordination of state-wide county mental health programs. He has special interests in job stress, crisis response, life issues, marital/partner relationships, and organizational and programmatic issues.

Alice Provost

 Alice Provost, MFT

 Alice has her Masters degree in Marriage & Family Counseling from Sacramento State University and is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Alice has experience in assessment, family, individual and group therapy with adults and adolescents. Her areas of special interest are women's issues, working with adolescents, parenting, chronic pain and stress management.

Terri Hiroshima-Chan

Terri Hiroshima-Chan, LCSW

Terri is a licensed clinical social worker who received her Masters degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from UC Davis. Terri has experience working with adults and children in outpatient and inpatient settings. Her areas of special interest include transcultural and intergenerational issues, as well as life transitions and caregiver roles.

Nancy Hodges

Nancy Hodges, MFT Intern

Nancy has her Masters Degree from the University San Francisco in Counseling Psychology and her Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Davis in Applied Behavioral Science and is working towards her Marriage and Family Therapy licensure. Nancy has experience working with children and families, parenting and anxiety issues.

Carolyn Bahoh is a pre-doctoral intern who completed her Masters degree in clinical psychology from Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology and is working toward her PsyD. She received her Bachelors degree in psychology from California State University, Chico. Carolyn has experience working with adolescent and adult individuals and groups. Her interests include: grief/loss, health psychology, women’s issues, wellness, and life transitions.

Carolyn Bahoh is a post-doctoral intern who completed her Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology. She received her Bachelors degree in psychology from California State University, Chico. Carolyn has experience working with adolescent and adult individuals and groups. Her interests include: wellness, grief/loss, health psychology, women’s issues, and life transitions.

Maryam Hafezi

Maryam Hafezi, M.S, M.A. mhafezi@ucdavis.edu

Maryam Hafezi is a University of California San Diego alumni; where she attended for her undergraduate degree of BS in Biology and Psychology.  She then went on to attended San Francisco State University where she earned her Master’s In Physiological and Research psychology and conducted her Master’s Research at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs and Stanford University. Maryam brings a breath of knowledge with work experience as a clinical research manager, Medical science liaison and Crisis hotline in addition to teaching at the university level for 14 years teaching Statistics and Research Design.  Recently Maryam returned to school to earn her Doctor of clinical psychology with a focus on issues specific to cancer and survivorship as well as grief therapy.  As part of her matriculation towards her doctorate degree Maryam has earned a MA in Clinical psychology, and is currently conducting research towards her doctoral dissertation focusing on the trauma of life after a cancer diagnosis. Maryam’s passion is guided imagery and meditation techniques in combination to psychotherapy.   

Rob Wennerberg

Rob Wennerberg M.A.,

Rob Wennerberg is a pre-doctoral intern who completed his Masters degree in forensic psychology from the University of Denver in Colorado and is working toward his PsyD for Pepperdine University. He received his Bachelors degree in Cellular Neuroscience from Tulane University in New Orleans, pre-hurricane Katrina. Rob has experience working with adolescent and adult individuals and extensive background in psychological testing. His fields of interest include: trauma, mindfulness, chronic stress, emergency responder psychology, and risk management.

Sharon Ree

Sharon Ree, AAIII/Program Coordinator slree@ucdavis.edu

Sharon graduated from California State University Sacramento with a bachelor's degree in Nutrition. She has worked as a Director of a therapeutic mental health private agency; serving special needs children and adults.  Sharon has also worked for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Consumer Safety Officer and Mercy General Hospital in the Nutrition Department.  She has been the Program Coordinator at ASAP since January, 2007.
