Performing Arts -

  • Mondavi Center. A premier northern California performing arts center, the Mondavi Center provides outstanding cultural programming. Staff receive 10% discounts.

  • The UC Davis Theater and Dance Department. Fully mounted productions under the guidance of outstanding theatre artists. The prestigious Granada Artist-in-Residence program brings visiting directors, playwrights, choreographers, or filmmakers to campus each quarter to teach and create a performance work, and includes dance, drama, and musical productions by these artists as well as by faculty members and other visiting professionals.

  • UC Davis Music Department. In addition to evening concert performances, the Music Department offers free noon-time concerts on Thursdays (12:05pm).

    • Get there early for seating. Concerts are usually in room 155 in the Music Building, but check the calendar to confirm.

Memorial Union

  • Campus community center with arts, entertainment (CoHo live frequent Mondays, with live acoustic music), educational events, tournaments, gaming (bowling, billiards, video games), dining (student-run Coffee House), post office, hair cutting & shopping:

    • UC Davis Bookstore – has a book club which offers discounts on selected books. Sign up at the Book Service Counter. Currently only available for in-store purchases.

    • Corral – candies, snacks, special gifts

    • Aggie Student Store – snacks & beverages

  • Campus Virtual Tour

  • University Airport - Operated as a utility airport for air shuttle service operations engaged in the contractual transportation of University employees and agricultural samples between the University's Agricultural Stations and the campus.

    • Services: Flight School Instruction, Aircraft Rentals, Maintenance/Repairs

  • Campus Union Event Rentals – Rent decorations and equipment for your next party/event.

  • R4 Recycling – UC Davis intends to become a zero waste institution. R4 offers support and incentives.

  • Bohart Museum - Museum of Entomology with the seventh largest insect collection in North America. The collection holdings total more than seven million specimens, and focus on terrestrial and fresh water invertebrates.

  • Botanical Conservatory

  • Sodexo Dining Services

  • Meat Lab – Processes extra-lean ground beef, homemade pork sausage, and other retail meat products. Custom-cut and wrapped beef, hog and lamb meats can be ordered. All meat sold frozen.

    • A federally inspected meat processing plant located on campus in the Harold Cole Facility for the Study of Biology of Large Animals. The Meat Lab is part of the Department of Animal Science and is used for teaching and research activities.

    • Location: South edge of the UC Davis Loop in the Harold Cole Facility Building "C", directly south of Meyer Hall across La Rue Road. Entrance to the lab is from the southeast end near the loading dock.

    • Hours: Thurs & Fri from 1 – 5:30pm

  • Olive Oil – The UC Davis Grounds Division makes award winning olive oil.

  • East Quad Farmer’s Market – On-campus farmer’s market. Open Wednesday afternoons during instructional quarters. Check website for calendar. 

  • Student Harvests – Students operate a subscription-farming community-supported agriculture (CSA) program at the Student Farm throughout the year. Faculty, staff and students can subscribe to receive weekly produce baskets.

    • Waitlist is over a year long.
