Yolo County
 

Offers permanent supportive housing for applicants that are homeless, a resident of Yolo County, and have a source of income


Provides shelter to homeless individuals, allowing them to reside in a safe and stable environment while having the opportunity to receive supportive services and rebuild their lives 


Emergency shelter program that operates 24/7 where individuals will have access to beds, restrooms/showers, laundry, transportation, phone, mail services, and case management

  • Case management offers personalized support with long-term goals 

The housing program provides permanent supportive and transitional housing

  • Permanent supportive housing provides long-term housing for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness and live with a disabling condition 
  • Sober Living Environment is a peer-supported transitional housing program with linkages to outpatient treatment 
  • Ellen's House is a CalWORKs family shelter providing private units, intensive case management, and housing stabilization for eligible families and pregnant individuals experiencing homelessness

Offers free, confidential 24/7 helpline and resource directory for shelters, transitional housing, rent payment assistance, and other housing related assistance


Offers referrals to local housing assistance, Benicia Housing Authority, and emergency family support programs 


Connects individuals and families in housing crisis to emergency shelter placements, transitional housing, and local housing case management 

 

Sacramento County
 

Operates local emergency shelters (including X Street and Meadowview Navigation Centers) and hosing programs for Sacramento residents 


Operates subsidized housing programs, including public housing and housing choice vouchers. Also provides referrals to local housing resources 


Provides emergency shelter as well as rapid rehousing and rental assistance through their case management team


Offers assistance to individuals experiencing eviction 


Offers free, confidential 24/7 helpline and resource directory for affordable housing, staying housed, shelters, and other related resources 


Offers assistance for low-income families with utilities, first month's rent, and eviction aviodance. Also provides emergency shelter as well as transitional housing

Offers Transitional Housing Program and Permanent Supportive Housing Program that provide housing and supportive services to Placer County adult residents with a diagnosed mental illness and/or other co-morbid disabilities

California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) is a welfare program that provides temporary financial assistance and services to meet basic needs such as housing, utilities, food, and clothing to eligible families that have children in the home 


Phone and text-based hotline that matches trained volunteers with individuals experiencing homelessness to provide basic companionship and social support
