UC Davis Celebrates Nearly 300 Employees for 25 Years of Service
Nearly 300 faculty and staff members were honored Oct. 13 as UC Davis celebrated their 25 years of service during the annual Quarter Century Club reception at the UC Davis Conference Center.
The celebration brought together employees from UC Davis and UC Davis Health whose work has supported the university’s mission of teaching, research, patient care and public service. Honorees represented a wide range of professions, including clinicians, researchers, educators, facilities professionals and administrative leaders.
For more than 80 years, the Quarter Century Club has recognized employees who have dedicated a quarter-century to UC Davis. This year’s reception continued that tradition, giving honorees an opportunity to reconnect with longtime colleagues, build new connections and reflect on their shared accomplishments over refreshments and music.
Recognizing the people behind UC Davis’ success
Chancellor Gary S. May and Chief Human Resources Officer Tammy Kenber delivered remarks recognizing the honorees’ lasting contributions and the experience, care and dedication they bring to the university community.
The entire UC Davis community owes you a debt of gratitude. You are colleagues, friends, and mentors who have shaped the direction of UC Davis and kept it thriving, even during the most challenging times.” - Chancellor Gary S. May
Across departments, campuses and professional disciplines, the honorees have helped sustain the university’s daily operations and advance its work. Their decades of service reflect the relationships and institutional knowledge that connect generations of students, patients and colleagues.
A celebration of lasting contributions
The reception was organized by the Human Resources Well-being and Recognition team, with generous support from University Credit Union. Their partnership helped create an occasion dedicated to recognizing the employees behind this milestone.
As UC Davis continues to grow and evolve, the Quarter Century Club offers an opportunity to celebrate the people who have helped shape its progress. This year’s honorees join generations of colleagues whose commitment has left a lasting mark on the university and the communities it serves.
