Employee Onboarding During Suspended Operations

All new employee onboarding is being handled remotely, with the use of Zoom or Skype.

At some point, employees that are onboarded virtually will need to provide their required, original documents. These documents will need to be provided in person, within 3 days.

The SSO has drafted a process, which includes notifying the affected employees and their units. Convenient locations for in-person onboarding appointments will be made available.

We are awaiting further guidance on what will trigger start of the 3-day period. However, we know that students who onboarded during the campus's suspended operations and have graduated, will not be required to return in person.

Should the need arise for a mass hire, the Student Recruitment team has drafted a process that meets the social distancing/shelter in place requirements.
