Staff Emergency Fund Disburses Final Payments
The Staff Emergency Fund at UC Davis Health and on the Davis campus closed June 30
We appreciate the support this program has received and recognize the vital role it has played in assisting employees facing financial hardships.
The Staff Emergency Fund was created at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to provide financial relief to employees in urgent need. Since its launch, the fund has distributed over $350,000 to staff across the Davis campus and UC Davis Health. We are proud of the impact this program has made over the last five years sustained through grassroots contributions.
The Davis campus and UC Davis Health emergency funds have disbursed their remaining funds, and were closed on June 30, 2025.

UC Davis employees can now borrow emergency funds through University Credit Union and BluPeak Credit Union, with:
- Loans of up to $5,000 for up to 36 months for unexpected medical expenses, emergency home repairs, and more
