Retirement Savings Plans: New Contribution Limits for 2024 

As previously announced, UC enhanced the Retirement and Savings Program with a new Roth after-tax contribution option for the 403b and 457b plans. As of August 1, you may elect any combination of pretax and/or Roth after-tax contributions, up to the IRS limits.

Call for Nominations: Chancellor Outstanding Staff Award

I am pleased to launch the 2024 nomination process for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Awards, the highest honor for a UC Davis staff member. 

Through this nomination process we will discover and celebrate staff members whose remarkable work advances the university’s mission and supports our students, employees, patients and community.

Nominations Due by February 2, 2024 at 5 p.m.

Any UC Davis employee may nominate a staff member for an Exceptional University Management or Exceptional University Impact Award.

It is now December, and it has started to get darker earlier.  Because of this, you must be more aware of your surroundings.  If you are walking by yourself, make sure to eliminate any distractions so that you make it to your final destination with no safety concerns.  However, if you happen to notice that you are being followed, here are some things you should do.

When a person comes to the hospital, it is usually because they are experiencing physical pain, or they are there in support of a loved one who is experiencing pain or illness.  Because we do not know everything about a person, we may not know what triggers them.
