We’re Extending the Employee Experience Survey

Thanks to your support, we’ve seen strong participation in the 2025 Employee Experience Survey so far. I’m grateful to everyone who has already taken the time to share their experience.
Recognizing that some teams needed more time to reach their eligible employees, we are extending the survey deadline by two additional weeks—through June 2.
We heard from several campus and UC Davis Health leaders that the original two-week window made it difficult to reach all employees. This extension gives teams the added time needed to encourage participation and hear from as many voices as possible.
To support your efforts, we are sharing unit-level response data for both UC Davis Health and the Davis campus.
I encourage leaders to use this information to identify areas where participation may be lagging and to target outreach accordingly.
There are parts of the organization where response rates are low—we can, and should, redouble our efforts in those areas. Every voice matters—and your continued support is essential to ensuring more of our colleagues have the chance to share their experience. The feedback we receive through this process is an important vehicle in shaping the future of our workplace.
Again, we are grateful to all who have already participated, and to the many teams whose response rates have exceeded turnout in 2022 (Davis) and 2023 (Sacramento).
